The RHS Pocket Diary 2009 is illustrated with works from the collection drawings made by Chinese artists under the supervision of John Reeves (1774--1856). Reeves, an inspector of tea at Canton and Macao for the East India Company, sent a total of 755 drawings to the Society. The Reeves Chinese drawings were divided into two sets.
